Beautiful Barns Day #1: Stalls

One day I dream about owning a beautiful stable, what horse girl doesn't?!  Thursday through Sunday I plan on fulfilling that dream (in my head) by posting daily pictures of barn features that I just love like stalls, arenas, etc.  Check back tomorrow AM for more!

I love the rustic wood throughout and the small touch of old fashion light fixtures

I am always a fan of open layouts, it's so horse healthy.  Maybe not in a cold climate like Vermont but this barn is in Hawaii!

Can't go wrong with clean and uniformed, that always adds class.

This barn looks like the inside of a house!  I love the skylights, more light and a great touch.  The ceiling has a slight curve, really adds some architecture to the barn.  The live plants add a fresh feel to the barn.

Dark stained wood throughout the barn really adds a finished, organized look.  I love the dark brown contrast with the light stone floor.

The lighter stained wood really helps lighting the place up, but still adds that finished classy look.  I love the light fixtures.  It's amazing how keeping things clean, adding some stained wood, and some light fixtures really class a place up.

Another great barn with stalls opening up to the outside, so horse healthy.  Beautiful arch way.

More great light fixtures.  The ceiling beams are charming.  The light stained wood in contrast with stone stalls, and dark wood stall doors are really artistic.

Modern light fixtures really clever as they are industrial looking but kind of retro too.  Again more beams, which I have always been a fan of.  Beams are common in old barns, so it's a way to keep some of the barn charm.

Some nice stalls, clean barn, again you can't go wrong.  I love the curvature to the stalls.

High ceiling gives a lot of air ventilation and movement but also adds elegance.

The white and wood look is really charming, something you would see in older barns in New England.  Having matching, wood chairs is a nice final touch that is affordable in any barn and just gives a put together type feel.

This barn is so classy, it wouldn't surprise me if it was royalty!

So clean and the white really lightens it up.

Nothing extremely fancy with this barn, but the nice wood throughout and the clean and organized barn aisle way is much appreciated.  One thing I don't like about boarding stables is they allow anyone to have a tack trunk outside their stall, but all the different types of trunks make it messy looking.  The clean, sleek looking aisle way is much better.

Now these have some serious columns, very European.

This is a great final touch to a barn, that door way is mouth dropping.

Stone is really pretty and the small lights throughout the ceiling is magical.
